We’re glad you found us. Black Sky Hollow is a cozy, community-focused camping and meetup space created for people who love nature, creativity, relaxation, and a little bit of nerdy comfort along the way. Our goal is to build a safe, supportive environment where members can unwind, connect, and enjoy the outdoors without pressure or judgment, while also having a welcoming space to explore nerd culture—especially for those who’ve always wanted to experience it but never had anyone to share it with. I’m here to help open that door and experience it together.

Black Sky Hollow is centered around Black nerd culture and minorities, celebrating shared experiences, creativity, fandoms, and community while remaining welcoming to those who respect and uplift that focus. This space is built with intention to provide comfort, visibility, and connection for those who often feel overlooked in traditional outdoor or geek spaces.

What We Do

Inside Black Sky Hollow, you can expect:

• Group camping trips and nature meetups

• Cozy outdoor movie or game nights

• Creative sessions like journaling, art, and crafting

• Small themed gatherings and seasonal activities

• Relaxed social events focused on friendship, rest, and community building

• Light introductions to nerd culture, games, and fandom spaces for beginners or the curious

Events are designed to be low-stress, welcoming, and community-driven rather than large or overwhelming.

Age Awareness

Please be aware that most events will require participants to be 21 years of age or older. This helps maintain a mature, comfortable environment and allows for certain activities or locations that may have age requirements.

Membership & Costs

Black Sky Hollow is a paid community that helps cover shared supplies, campsite reservations, decorations, and group resources.
However, until we reach 40 members, membership is completely free.

During this growth phase, donations for camping and community supplies are greatly appreciated but never required. Every contribution goes directly back into improving group experiences.

Safety & Membership Guidelines

Safety and comfort for our members are top priority.

At this time, primary membership is open to women.

Men may attend only if they are part of a verified couple, meaning they must be attending with either:

• their female spouse or partner, or
• their male partner (for gay couples)

Couples must register together, video verify together, and pay the couple membership rate to participate in events.

These guidelines are in place to maintain a safe, balanced, and respectful environment for all members as the community grows and safety protocols strengthen.

Black Sky Hollow is also a respectful and inclusive space for people of different spiritual and religious backgrounds. Members are expected to respect each other’s personal beliefs and boundaries. Not everyone in this community is Christian or practices prayer or worship of Jesus, and no one should pressure, judge, or attempt to convert others. Mutual respect for different traditions, spiritual paths, or non-religious beliefs is expected at all times.
